Northbrook International Controls Inc to distribute leading edge Serveron Transformer Monitors

Adding to their already impressive list pf products, Northbrook recently was given rights of distribution to the Serveron line of transformer monitors by Better Power Lines Global, BPLG, of Oregon.

BPLG specializes in solutions and services to electric utilities and their customers. Their line of Serveron transformer monitors are a critical part of an online monitoring system that serves to safeguard some of the costliest and most critical parts of the power grid, the transformer.

This family of on-line transformer monitors provide key asset data including dissolved gas analysis (DGA) of the insulating oil of power transformers and other oil-filled equipment. Using on-line gas chromatography (GC) to detect trace levels of transformer fault gases, Serveron transformers assist utilities in achieving the highest levels of reliable and safe operation of their transformer fleet.
